Giana and her band will be playing in Europe starting with a concert at the Moods in Zurich on 14th of November 2006.
All the members of the tourband met at the Berklee College of Music in Boston some years ago: São Paulo-based guitarrist Michael Ruzitschka; bass player Rogério Botter Maio, one of the best known Jazz musicians in Brazil (www.bottermaio.com); the Brazilian Alex Kautz, currently THE in-demand drummer in Mexico; pianist Christian Gall, based in Munich, the first call guy for Brazilian music in Germany (www.christiangall.de).
The repertory consists of songs from the latest release, new compositions by Giana and Michael as well as new interpretations of Brazilian Classics like “Dindi“ and “Água de Beber“.
