Giana was one of the selected artists to participate in the project Rumos Musical of the cultural institution Itaú Cultural. This prize allows a nationwide promotion of the artist´s work. The songs “Cura Cuca” and “Boas Palavras” (from Giana´s first CD “Tinge”) were included in the collection “O Brasil em 09 CDs”. The complete box with 9 CDs is available in music stores and at www.itaucultural.com.br. Another aspect of this project is a partnership with the French radio station Radio France International (RFI) with the object of promoting the selected artists internationally.
Giana´s concert at the Itaú was marvelous. She and her band felt inspired.
The special stage set plus a great audience were the final ingredients for a perfect show which was filmed and will be released as DVD in 2006.
