On their first trip to Asia Giana and Michael performed two concerts at the Café Vivement Dimanche in Kamakura, the old capital of Japan, located just beneath Tokyo. They also played live on the radio Shonan Beach FM 78.9. In the afternoon the two had the chance to visit the huge section of Brazilian Music at Tower Records in Tokyo and take a photo of the booth of the sampler “Havaianas-Vida do do Paraíso”. This sampler includes the song “O Prazer” of Giana´s first album “Tinge”.
At night Giana and Michael went to see the performance of Joe Zawinul´s Syndicate (co-founder of the legendary band Weather Report) at the Blue Note. Backstage they met Alegre Corrêa and the other members of the band, later even Chick Correa showed up!
